March 2025: With the move now in motion to our new TechPoint Group location, we’ll be providing regular progress updates to keep you informed. Here’s what’s been accomplished so far and information on what’s coming next.
Having joined the TechPoint Group in April 2024, our search for the ideal facility began in June 2024, with a focus on finding a site that meets our high standards for innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency.

Milestone 1
February 2025: Lease signed and planning permission submitted.
After extensive evaluation of over 70 properties, a new-build facility in Basingstoke, Hampshire has been chosen.
This selection was based upon a strict criteria to ensure that the new building meets TechPoint Group’s business requirements and very high standards.
Milestone 2
January-March 2025: Design creation, final signoff and Planning Approvals.
Our new TechPoint Group facility was previously unoccupied and has in excess of 60,000 sq ft.of space. This will enable us to have all departments in one building across 3 floors and offers flexible space to allow for future growth with excellent local authority support. The new building design has been completed and approved.
The new building will not only increase efficiency but also allow us to take on more complex projects including those with enhanced compliance requirements for sensitive and high-precision projects such as those in Aerospace and Defence. It will also enable us to continue to invest in new technologies allowing us to deliver the highest quality solutions to all of our customers.
The shop floor will be fully ESD-compliant with enhanced lighting, climate control, and an optimised layout to support productivity and quality control.
The facility is also sustainable as standard offering a number of key benefits.
Building fabric designed and constructed to very high standards of insulation and air tightness
Roof-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) system
Harvesting and cleaning rainwater to use in our WCs rather than drawing from the mains
Water saving taps and WCs saving gallons of water a year
Leak-detection system designed to accurately identify potential water leaks
EV charging points for colleague and customer use
Providing us with the ability to accurately monitor and measure energy consumption across the site
